Distraction-free fullscreen workspaces for code, Markdown and spreadsheets
Large config files, merge reviews and wide spreadsheets need every pixel. Many Coders Hub editors now include a fullscreen mode that hides the page around the tool and gives the workspace the whole screen.
Where fullscreen is available
- Online Notepad++ and the Markdown Live Editor for writing and code.
- XLSX Studio and the CSV Viewer & Editor for spreadsheets.
- The Document Editor and the PDF Viewer & Editor for documents.
- The Diff Checker, Code Diff Merger and JSON comparison tools.
What changes in fullscreen
- One slim toolbar replaces the usual rows of controls.
- The editor, grid or diff fills the full height and width of the screen.
- The browser's native fullscreen mode is used where allowed, with a full-window fallback elsewhere.
- Press Esc or click Exit to return to the normal page.
Shortcuts worth learning
- Ctrl/Cmd+F opens search, Ctrl/Cmd+G jumps to a line in Notepad++, and Ctrl/Cmd+S saves a copy.
- In diff tools, use Next and Prev to jump between changes instead of scrolling.
Still private
Everything runs in your browser. Your code, sheets and documents are never uploaded, in fullscreen or not.
