As many as your device memory allows; very large batches are processed one image at a time to stay responsive.

Are my photos uploaded?

No, every image is decoded and redrawn locally with the Canvas API.

Why is Download all staggered?

Browsers block rapid multiple downloads, so files are saved a fraction of a second apart.

Does resizing upscale images?

Fit mode never enlarges beyond the original; fixed width, fixed height and percent modes can upscale if you ask them to.

Which format should I pick?

WebP gives the smallest files, JPEG is the most compatible, and PNG is lossless for graphics and screenshots.
