Yes. It recognizes both urlset sitemaps and sitemapindex files and validates their location entries.

Does it check every URL?

Structure validation covers every entry. The optional live check tests the first 100 unique URLs to keep the scan fast and respectful of the target site.

Why might a valid URL fail a live check?

Some sites block automated requests, require cookies or use a firewall. The structural result remains useful even when a live request is blocked.

Is my data uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using standard web APIs, so your input never leaves your device and nothing is logged or stored on our servers.
