Geolocation

Enter an IP address or domain, or look up your own address.

How to read this

  • Geolocation is an estimate from registry and routing data — city accuracy is usually good, street level never is.
  • The PTR record is the reverse DNS name the address owner published. Hosting providers usually set one; home connections often do not.
  • ASN and ISP tell you which network announces the address, which is the most reliable field here.
  • Mobile and VPN addresses commonly resolve to the provider's gateway city, not the user's.

About the IP Geolocation & Reverse IP Lookup
